My name is Emma Fraser and I am an accredited book conservator and bookbinding teacher who plans to be a student and teacher of all things ‘book’ in the world at large.
My very enjoyable job of 11 and a half years at the wonderful Book & Paper Conservation Studio in Dundee, Scotland had to come to an end in order to make this happen. Every cloud has a silver lining and mine is very shiny.
This blog is to share what I’m doing, seeing and learning. And hopefully raise some discussions about the Book and it’s place in the world, both now and historically, and if I’m really lucky maybe some work as I travel…
